String constants for full text search

Unread post by julio »

I am trying to add a new string constant on Configuration - Publishing Options - Webhelp - Full Text Search option. So, I created a .zlang file with the new constant, used the Load translation constants from file option, a message This will overwrite all translation strings. Do you want to proceed? is then displayed, I click Yes but the new constant is never added to the list. Is there any other trick to add a constant to that list? Apparently only the strings already on that list are updated.

Thank you.

Well, yes, because those are the only ones that Zoom knows about... :? The actual constants displayed are a hard-coded list in Help+Manual itself. It looks for those in the .zlang file and displays them for editing. There are no facilities for adding to the existing list, I'm afraid. You would need to use user-defined variables in Help+Manual for that, either in the skin or in your project.
