Hi guys,
I have an issue with the title of manual chapters being obscured by the skin of the manual. It's very strange as it only happens on some pages and not others.
Problematic pages can be viewed here:
https://help.tracker-software.com/pdfxe ... de_ed.html
https://help.tracker-software.com/pdfxe ... de_ed.html
https://help.tracker-software.com/pdfxe ... ts_ed.html
This is how it should look:
https://help.tracker-software.com/pdfxe ... de_ed.html
I.e. with the text "Operations Guide" fully visible, in the black header, beneath the text Navigation: Product Manuals > PDF-XChange Editor V7 > Installation.
Any advice hugely appreciated as we cannot figure this one out!
Cheers,
Sean

Re: Skin obscuring manual text
Hi Sean,
Browsing in your pages I can see pretty soon what the problem is: You've modified your layout to ensure that the height of the topic header is always exactly the same as the height of the TOC header. That looks "nice" but automatically results in this issue. The topic header needs to be able to adjust its height dynamically and it is not supposed always to have the same height as the TOC header, because that is not possible when the topic header has varying content.
I'm afraid you're going to need to roll back the changes you made to get that nice "neat" appearance...

Re: Skin obscuring manual text
Hi Tim okay thanks very much for the quick answer.
How do I make these changes? Is it a change in the manual layout settings or the skin?
Thanks a million,
Sean

The changes will be in the skin. Unfortunately, only you can know that since you are using a skin that you have modified...Sean Godley wrote:How do I make these changes? Is it a change in the manual layout settings or the skin?
