Which PP skin produces the flat look of CHM tabs etc? Or if it's a cutomising somewhere - where do you make the flat look like the H&M Manual CHM files?

None of them. This is physically impossible. The CHM viewer is an ancient, ancient Microsoft Windows component that has not been updated since its original release with Windows 98 and cannot be configured in its appearance in any way. There are some configurations in Configuration > Publishing Options > HTML Help > Help Windows, but that is pretty much it. The appearance of the viewer is carved in stone.

If you want a configurable appearance for local help, try eWriter, it can replace CHM and eliminates the disadvantages of both CHM and local Webhelp:

Hi Alan,

That's down to the manifest file included in or with your application. Windows matches a CHM to the calling application's manifest settings.

If you open the HelpMan.chm file by itself, you will see that it matches yours:

hm_chm.png

Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\EC Software\HelpAndManual7\HelpMan.chm

cheers,

Martin.
