Virtually all of our users work on 16:9 aspect ratio monitors, with many using UHD.
I'd like to somehow create the best of two worlds:
1. World one = having a conventional topic (text + graphics) appear such that the graphics mortise neatly into the textual layout... meaning that 16:9 screen grabs have to be greatly reduced in size
2. World two = showing small details via graphics that are as close to original size as possible.
Is there a way to make in-text graphics serve as clickable thumbnails? Ideal workflow: the end-user clicks on the graphic, sees it life size, then clicks a handy on-screen X to close the graphic... and the user's cursor is magically back at the spot when the user clicked on the thumbnail.
Is there a way to do this without creating two graphics (e.g., 1/4 size thumbnail + full size graphic, with each being the same screen)?
(Is this just the old hotspot + width and height attributes -- that is, "Display Size" in H+M's picture properties?)
Can help screen graphics be expandable thumbnails?
