Insert html5 quiz?

Unread post by Peter Muckle »

Hi,

I wondered if it is possible, and if so how, to create/insert an html 5 quiz into H&M?

I've made one in Helpxplain which works but takes a while to put together.

Thanks

Hi Peter,

These things usually come with a "package" of HTML, CSS and JavaScript files in a sub-folder. Since you can't export sub-folders from your Baggage section (everything goes into one root folder) you will need to do a bit of a workaround:
  • The sub-folder containing all the quiz' external files you will need to upload to your WebHelp folder on your web server yourself.
  • The reference to the quiz in your tppic page can be added in the normal HM topic editor, using the Code Object tool in Write > Insert Object. IMPORTANT: You need to check the box saying you don't want the reference inserted in a paragraph tag.
  • If you need to put any references to the quiz' CSS and JS files in the page you do that in the skin. Add them directly before the HTML page template's closing </head> tag.
