I have a topic with a TOC entry, which links to topics without TOC entries.
When I'm on one of the non-TOC topics, clicking on the parent topic (the one with the TOC entry) in the TOC pane does nothing. I realize that's likely because H&M assumes I'm still on the currently selected TOC topic, so it does not reload that page. But users wonder why clicking on the parent TOC entry doesn't take them back to the parent page.

Re: TOC behavior with non-TOC topics
Hi Mark,
Thanks for reporting this. This is a limitation of the WebHelp 3 format in the V3 Responsive skins that has never been noticed before. I'll make sure a correction makes it into the next update.
PS: The current workaround is to use the Back button in the browser. That will take you back to the topic that contained the link.

Re: TOC behavior with non-TOC topics
One more addition to this, which I believe may be related:
If I go directly to the URL of the non-TOC page, the TOC panel only shows "Home"...it doesn't display the full TOC.
No need to reply Tim, this is just additional information about the problem described above.
Thanks.

Hi Mark,
Thanks for adding this. It's also an edge case that needs to be addressed. It surprises me actually that this hasn't come up yet.If I go directly to the URL of the non-TOC page, the TOC panel only shows "Home"...it doesn't display the full TOC.

Re: TOC behavior with non-TOC topics
Hi Mark,
Update: This will also be corrected in release 3.35. In addition to this the Breadcrumbs display in desktop mode will display
Navigation: >>No TOC Entry for this Topic<<
when a non-TOC topic is being displayed (text is stored in a new variable).

Nice. The option to control the no-TOC breadcrumb text will be good to have.
