Color management

Unread post by Paul Elbertse »

Hi Tim,

First of all, congrats on the new 8 version and of course PP version 4.

I have a question about colour management.

Do I understand correctly that it is now possible to change colors in the Premium Pack skins, like:
Background color of the TOC
Background color of the part (don't know what it is called) where you have the 'Prev', 'Top', 'Next' and 'More' icons/buttons
Background color of the Hamburger menu
Background color of the Header box
Background color of the HM_Headermenu

And then of course the colour of the text in these sections

For example, I like the Samurai red skin but would like to have a white background in the TOC.

Regards,
Paul

Hi Paul,
For example, I like the Samurai red skin but would like to have a white background in the TOC.
  1. Open the skin in Toobox (it must be the updated version of the skin from PP4, NOT the old version from PP3)
  2. Select "Color Settings" in the filter dropdown next to the variables sections dropdown.
  3. Select the TOC, Index and Search variables group.
The color you want there is NAVPANE_BGCOLOR.

Hi Tim,

Thanks.
I have not purchased H&M 8 nor PP4 yet.
Depending on your answers I will decide.
The samurai red was just an example.

Could you have a look at my questions again.
Thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

The settings you mention there are included but rather than asking more questions about individual colors just give it a try and see if you like it. You have a one-month money-back guarantee, so you're not risking anything. 8)
