Copying and pasting a slide

Unread post by Kai »

When I try to copy a slide in the "Objects" tab via the context menu and then paste it it's actually pasting a text object into the slide rather than a slide into the tree.

When I try to copy a slide in the "Slides" tab via the context menu and then paste it nothing happens at all.

I am aware that I can use "Duplicate slides" but copy and paste should still work.

Hi Kai,

To copy and paste an entire slide, it is necessary to use the Slides Overview (top of the slides list), and on the main window only. Copying and pasting entire slides in the Slides or Objects lists appears not to work.

On the main Slides Overview window, you can select a slide, and then right-click copy and paste it. You must select the slide first. The paste will be on top of the one which was copied, so you need to drag it away to be sure you have a copy of it.

cheers,

Martin.
