Animation Timeline

Unread post by Ga Bowen » Fri Jul 26, 2019 9:46 am

Just an idea...

To me it is difficult to see how all animations fit together and I think maybe a timeline would help, something like this:

Image

Each would be a single animation and it could even be sectioned into slides so you could 'scrub' through the whole Xplain. It would also declutter the tool bar as you could remove the Duration/Delay/Pause/Reorder etc.

I come from using editing software a lot so it makes sense to me, but I understand that it may seem against the 'simple, easy, fun to use' pick-up-n-play approach Xplain is aiming for. Like I said, just an idea...

A timeline is already on the ToDo list, among other things because it will also be necessary for audio when that is added. 8)
