HelpXplain 1.1 Beta with Audio Support

Unread post by Alexander Halser »

The audio support in HelpXplain is quite complete by now.

If you want to give it a try, download the beta version from:
https://www.helpandmanual.com/download/ ... p-v110.exe

Slide audio and background audio

We have implemented a general background audio that (typically) plays in an endless loop and per-slide audio, mostly for voice-overs. Slide audio is done with dedicated audio objects that are being played with an animation. You can place multiple audio objects on a slide and play them in sync with other animations. To record voice-overs, we have implemented a small voice recorder. All player skins now have audio controls to mute/unmute audio in an Xplain.

Great!

Thanks for including the voice recorder. That's made it much easier to record a slide voice-over than using other software and creating a lot of audio files.

cheers,

Martin.

On your example on your website, one of the slides is a train travelling through the mountains.

The audio is of a train but then cuts to a recorded voice over.

For presentations and the such it would be great once the voice over starts to have the audio of the train carry on but slightly quieter.

Hello,

Okay but all the presentation tools I used had a timeline tool needed to handle all the animations and sounds.

Thank you
