Spotlight size

If the spotlight is on the right hand side of the screen it cannot be resized as the dot to do this is off the screen and not available

You have to move the whole spotlight to the left, resize with the yellow dot and move it back.

It is difficult to place it back in the same position

I'd never noticed that -- never had a spotlight in that position. Thanks for reporting this.

I can actually get the resize button but it is very difficult - you have to be exactly on the edge of the spotlight, the button then shows off the display area and can be used.

I can hit it one in 8 times, more luck than anything else, may also be due to the screen resolution

Just zoom out a little bit (with the mouse wheel) to reach the handle.
