Restyle or remove the EWriter Application Menu but keep the buttons?

There seem to be another problem with the menu. When the text length seems to reach a certain value, the menu suddenly become much too wide. For example, when I enter the word "Funktion" as a title, the width is OK, However, if I change it to "Funktionen", which is just 2 letters wider, the width of the menu increases drastically so that it cocomes much too wide then.

Thanks for reporting this, I can reproduce it immediately. I've passed the information on to the developers. Although I would really say "wider than necessary" rather than "much too wide". It's fairly wide, but really not excessive.
