Use mathpix with help and manual

Unread post by javier_help »

Hi

I am a user of https://mathpix.com/

I can't get the latex syntax to work with the new helpandmanual feature for equations. Has anyone used it? :typing:

The HM equation editor doesn't have a full implementation of LaTeX:

Most basic symbols and expression types are available. If you insert invalid or unsupported code this will be indicated by a standard envelope image for the entire formula.

I use Mathpix, and as Tim said the latex editor is not the full implementation of Latex. Given we have about over 500 equations and we require deeper control of fonts etc etc we went for more robust equation editing and use the pngs in help & manual v7 and v8.

Axmath, for general editing
Mathpix for picture to Latex
TeXstudio as the main Latex editor

It is a rather steep learning curve to get it all working, windows we found easier than MacOS

and you might want to look at ExcelCalcs .
