How to find an older project
I have an older project from three years ago and not sure how to browse for it and what file name to look for. Downloaded version 8.
Re: How to find an older project
Can't you just search for a hmxp/hmxz file?

Re: How to find an older project
Hi Ken,
If the projects were created with Help+Manual 5 or later the projects can have two possible formats: A single file with the extension .hmxz that contains the entire project, or a folder of files containing a main project file with the extension .hmxp, an .xsl file, an .xsd file, and the sub-folders \Topics (the topic files), \Maps (the table of contents files), \Baggage (additional files added by the user) and sometimes also \History. To open these projects in Help+Manual 8 you simply open the .hmxp or .hmxz file.
If your projects were created with Help+Manual 4 or earlier they will have different formats. You can learn how to access and convert these projects in version 8 here:
