What does the EC in EC Software stand for?

Unread post by Aitch »

Hellooo!

I'm a nosey person who always need to know how things work or where they come from.. I can go for years without wondering where something came from, but once I have an idea in my head, I NEED to know.

My question today is - What does the EC stand for?
A quick google came up with a lot of random things.. and I don't think it stands for any of the following
Extra Credit
European Continent (or does it?)
Enzyme commission
....
the list goes on.

Please can somebody put me out of my misery?
Thanks
H

Hi Heidi,

The EC originally stood for Alexander's very first product, which was a DOS-based POS/cash register program called Easy Cash. So now you know.. :)

I only read today about the POS history behind EC Software.

And now that I'm all enlightened and know more, I can go to sleep in peace tonight ;)

thanks!
