HelpXplain Screencast Tool Released

Unread post by Tim Green »

We're happy to announce the release of our latest product, HelpXplain:

HelpXplain Release Announcement

HelpXplain Product Page

New HelpXplain Forum Section

HelpXplain is a completely new way to create enhanced screenshots, animated infographics and step-by-step HowTo tutorials more quickly and easily than ever before. If you've ever struggled with creating video screencasts you're going to love this. Instead of recording a continuous video of what you do on the screen, HelpXplain records a series of normal screenshots and then animates the transitions between them. This means that every stop of your screencast can be edited and replaced later, so you never need to repeat everything because of a single mistake or change. Also, recording is much less stressful: You can wait as long as you like between screenshots and even make changes to the screen while you are recording.

You can also use it to create regular screenshots, animated screenshots, slideshows and interactive presentations, all of which can be embedded in your Help+Manual topics with a couple of clicks.

HelpXplain integrates fully with the current version of Help+Manual 7, provided you get the latest update with the current compatibility additions for HelpXplain:

Help+Manual Latest Version Installer.
