HelpXplain 1.5 Released

Unread post by Tim Green »

Version 1.5 of our HelpXplain screencast, animated infographics and screenshot tool has now been released with some useful new features and a handful of bug fixes.

Improvements include custom HTML meta tags for easier social-media integration and new arrange functions for objects. We have also fixed a technical issue with audio files sometimes not playing on Mobile Safari on iPhones and iPads.

The update also includes the new version of the DeepL translation tool, with 13 new languages: Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Greek, Estonian, Finnish, Hungarian, Lithuanian, Latvian, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian and Swedish.

See this page on our news blog for full details and a download link:

Is HelpXplain still being actively developed? last update was nearly 14 months ago and it doesn't seem to get much mention lately, so just wondered what the roadmap is for it?

Definitely still under development. The pandemic has delayed a lot of things and thrown quite a few plans into disarray, but things are now getting back on course. Please don't ask about target dates as we don't post those. 8)
