Hi,
we deliver a lot of manuals to linux oriented development agencies - usually its the managers who read them since the developers do not bother .. they work in a commandline environment where Lynx is the browser of choice.
Obviously Lynx cannot handle the html help format .. frames, etc, etc.
Would it not be nice if it were possible to put some more focus on document structures with divs or table header tags so a text browser could display the html help? A simple environment check script would do it even, and add a small "skipLinks" div with a display:none which shows anchor links to all areas on a page as well as navigation structures. The display: none would ensure this div not showing up in html help or other formats .. but it would allow those commandline guru's to read it without issues in Lynx and still be able to make good use of it and navigate it.
