It would ne nice to be able to replace any occuance of a search string with a string containing variables.
So "replace all "blabla" with "<%blabla%>".

Re: Replace text with variable
This is already possible. Variables don't have to be entered as variable objects; they can also be typed in directly as <%VARIABLE_NAME%>. So you can also do this with search and replace. So long as the replacement uses the <%VARIABLE_NAME%> syntax with all capital letters and no spaces it will work.

Re: Replace text with variable
Yes, but this makes H+M not show the variable as such with the blue frame. This means it is not possible to check the variable value and as a user it is not easily seen where a variable is.

Re: Replace text with variable
Any chance of having H+M check for variable use and show that blue frame?

Not on manually-entered variables, no (that includes variables entered with search and replace).Tobias Escher wrote:Any chance of having H+M check for variable use and show that blue frame?
