Hi,
You can define an anchorID twice in chapter.
When using such an anchorID in a link, the destination is always the first one in the chapter.
Is it possible to give a warning on exporting the project or to include such an option in the reports?
Thanks in advance
Petra

Re: warning for double AnchorID
New information: In the next update Help+Manual will warn of anchor duplicates in the same topic when you publish to CHM, Webhelp, eBook and EPUB, in the compiler report. It won't show the warnings while you are editing because that is too problematic. It is actually legal to have multiple anchors with the same ID in the same topic, because it's possible to exclude them with conditional text. Checking that during editing is not possible, because the editor can't know what you're going to select when you publish.

Re: warning for double AnchorID
Hi Tim,
personally i think while editing it's not necessary. It's enough to get the information as a warning when exporting the project.
We use individual user builds, but i didn't thougth about this problem for user builds ...
Thank you,
Petra
