Any project with many topics, some of which are rarely updated, others where last edit date is important, will need to use <%TOPICLASTEDITED%>.
Providing <%TOPICLASTEDITED%> reflects the date stamp of the topic xml file, this can be added to the default HTML template for automatic edit stamping.
However, for global organisations, the default date stamp format is ambiguous up to the 12th of the month: 12/02/2018 - 12 Feb or 2 Dec?
Being able to format this variable as <%NOW%> would be really helpful.
Add date formatting to <%TOPICLASTEDITED%>

Re: Add date formatting to <%TOPICLASTEDITED%>
Hi Andie,
This is already supported. Both variables <%NOW%> and <%TOPICLASTEDITED%> can be used with a time/date format string. These two are the only predefined dedicated date/time variables.

Re: Add date formatting to <%TOPICLASTEDITED%>
Hi Andie,
This was actually topic in the Reference section of the help that should have been updated but wasn't. It does actually work for both those full-date-format variables (NOW and TOPICLASTEDITED). Will be fixed in the next edition of the help.
