We program in Dot NEt and hyphens are a bad ting in Dot Net. We setup H&M to stop using underscores and we also checked the option to remove blank spaces. Both of those are great options. But sometime when we type a Topic Name it might appear with a hyphen )dash) in the name. Then the Topic ID gets that hyphen (dash) and of course Dot Net hates it.
I would like to see yet another option, wight with the option to remove spaces, that lets us elect to "Remove Punctuation and Special Characters. This would kill off all special characters and hyphens in the Topic IDs.
Thanks.
Joe

Re: Hyphens in Topic IDs
Hi Joe,
This option is already there. If you look in View > Program Options > Editor you will find an option to define the character to be used to replace blanks (and other illegal characters) when generating a Topic ID from your topic title.
