Shortcut for Keyword Insertion - alter key used?

Unread post by Graeme Martin »

Just a little thing to make keyword insertion slightly easier

Ctrl K is used for quick keyword insertion. Very Logical. I use it a lot.

However, I find it a little awkward using my left hand on the right hand side of the keyboard, holding the ctrl key with the index finger & pressing k with the little finger whilst I go through highlighting text for keywords with the mouse.

It is easier, I think, to hold the ctrl key down with the little finger & press the functioning key with the index finger. However, the stretch from ctrl on the left of the keyboard to k is too far for most peoples hands.

Is there any chance of changing this to another key which is closer to the ctrl key on the left - or even making it a single key such as one of the function keys.

Regards

Indeed there is. Use the Ctrl key on the right.
