PHP Syntax Highlighter

Unread post by wustenveld »

Maybe a nice feature would be a HP Syntax Highlighter. I'm using the C++ style because the source of C++ is almost the same as PHP, but a PHP style with code coloring etc would be nice.

Do you have a complete list of reserved words of PHP? And is there any "standard" PHP code editor with a particular syntax highlighting that Help & Manual should immitate?

Zend Studio is probably the standard (http://www.zend.com). Lots of people also like to use HomeSite 4.5 (now bundled with many Macromedia products) because it has excellent highlighting, very good wizards and live server previews (routes all code through the local server if available).
