Join Table supposed the cells/columns are equal

Is there a possibility to join two tables to one table supposed that the cells are equal (compared with the function: Table -> Split Table).

On a related note, is it possible for H&M to automatically split tables in PDF and Print mode, so that we don't have large empty gaps at the bottom of pages that contain tables that are too large to entirely fit in the page ?
