Recommend a good Help Authoring tool

Unread post by Saba Ahmed »

Hi All,

I am a new user and I have used only one help software by the name of "Fore Help". I was wondering if anybody could recommend me a another good Help Authoring Tool that will support multiple languages not just english..

Thanks.

Dear Saba,

recommending a tool is always dependent on the needs you have. Help and Manual is a stable tool with a good support and a lot of output formats. The main disadvantages are the limited table support, the missing of true style sheets and the missing of Unicode support. But there are plans to overcome this in the next version. But only EC Software knows when this will be available to public.

Dear Saba,

the User Interface of H&M is always in english. The help files you generate can be in any language which do not require Unicode characters.
