So, MS Help 2 is officially dead... my eyes are full of tears...
Having in mind that the HTMLHelp as successor of Winhelp is in certain aspects more primitive and weaker than WinHelp, and that - according to so far available news - Help 2.0 was about to add more complications than features, perhaps it's not bad idea to "kill" it before time; is it better than face one weird-designed "improvement" more?
The only thing I'm sorry about are collections; I was looking forward Help 2 to solve collections without integrating them to MSDN. It was scandalous already that such important feature was totally undocumented, and "locked" (so much about taking care about customer base!), and now we are informed there will be no relief until "next" Windows. Sigh. But, knowing Microsoft, anyone's surprised indeed? I'm not.
Just in case: anyone knows how to make collections without MSDN? Any hack around?
Regards,
Bruno
