PDFs created with 3.1.99.694 contain unwanted advert!

Unread post by brunos »

PDFs created with 3.1.99.694 contain an unwanted advertising text "PDF creation with wPDF - info: www.wptools.de", in the footer of *each* page!

Apparently, there's no way to remove it.

Where's the magic button?

Regards,
Bruno

Do you have a backup? Please restore the file "ECHMPDF3.DLL" - this new version fixes font problems of PDFs that are viewed on Palm PDF readers but obviously has a nag message that we cannot remove, either. We are waiting for an updated version of the DLL from the supplier.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Right, I have reinstalled 651 now, and then overwrote the files with the ones from beta 694, skipping the PDF library; it works now ok.

Thanks again.

New beta package uploaded!
The most recent package includes a newer PDF dll now without nag text.
However, if you have restored the previous version, you won't find any
improvements in this new DLL. It has a slightly changed font encoding
for PDF readers for other operating systems than Windows.

Strange, I downloaded on Saturday (I was probably the first one  ) and did not experience such problems.
