HTML-Link stopped working in 3.2

Unread post by MHuebner »

I included plain HTML-Coding in one of my Pages of the chm-File. In this coding were also links to other HTML-Pages. I could make these links work in 3.0 or 3.1 in the following way.
- create directory under the hm3-file directory e.g. HTML-downloads
- I stored all the HTML-Files in this directory
- I put this directory into the "extended HHP-Settings" with the entry
[FILES]
..\HTML-downloads\*.html
=> the links in the Plain HTML-Code worked in the chm-file = :-)

I installed 3.2 and w/o any changes in the hm3-file I only did the compiling of the "new" chm-File. Then the links didn't work any more = :-(

I hope this will be fixed asap.

Regards
Matthias

You must have done something wrong in your code or file structure. There were no changes to that in version 3.2.

Hello Alexander,
thanks for your hint. I simply deinstall all versions of H&M. Than I install 3.2 again => now it works.
But I only copy & paste the html-source-code and never changed links in this coding. So I'm happy that it works but would be 100% satisfied when I would now the reason of the first occuring errors.
Thank you :-)
Matthias
PS: I'll keep an eye on it. If I can focus on more details for the errors I will post it here or in the "tips & tricks"-forum.
