Tables: Row height changes

If I insert a table and fill the cells with text or edit cells, the row height adjusts automatically to the height of the font. When I generate the PDF output the rows in the output have something like half a line space to the bottom of the table. If I change the topic and change back to the first one with the table, the rows have now also a line spacing like single and a half line. This is very confusing. I'd like to have a single line spacing. Is this possible? Can I fix the row height to a value?
