Topic IDs not scrollable when longer than visible line

Hi,

when inserting a link, the Topic IDs in the scroll-list cannot completely displayed when using long Topic-names.

A horizontal scrollbar would be useful to fix this prob.

PS. The same prob appears when e.g. setting the path to the pictures directory. If the path is very long it cannot be displayed correctly too.

.... oops, seems that the reason for the topic-name prob is that the last characters of topicnames are cut when the names are too long.

I imported my actual helpfile from another help authoring tool which supported long Topic IDs.

Is this limitation of of the length of topicnames necessary?

I often use "speaking" names for my topics to find them mor easyly later.

Yes, that's unfortunately a technical limitation of the database format of .hm3 files.
The "Insert link" dialog box is sizeable. If you make it larger, the topic ID list gets wider.
