How to create fixed submenu in all topic

Unread post by Ronny » Wed Aug 27, 2008 8:46 am

Help me guys.....
I use Help & Manual 5.
I try to create webhelp with condition: every screen of topic have same sub menu.
Ilustrate:

Header
-------------------------------------------------------
+ TOC 1 | submenu1 submenu2 submenu3
+ TOC1a |
+ TOC1ab |
+ TOC 2 |
+ TOC 2a |
|
|

So screen of topic in matrix or array, example:
TOC1ab submenu1
TOC1ab submenu2
TOC1ab submenu3
TOC2a submenu1
TOC2a submenu2
TOC2a submenu3

Cant you help me?

Hi Ronny,

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you're trying to do. However, you cannot change the "tree" structure of the TOC in Webhelp. This is preprogrammed and cannot be altered.

But, of course, you can edit the webhelp pages after they have been constructed by HM, making any changes you like to them!

That's true, bearing in mind that said changes must be re-applied to the Webhelp pages every time the project is compiled in H&M. To me, that's a maintenance headache.
