**URGENT** HM6 Suddenly Going Into Expired Trial Mode
I have been using a registered and activated copy of HM6 since November with no problems.
Then, suddenly, last night, shortly after midnight, it told me that my trial period was over (it was not a trial version and no previous such messages ever appeared).
I tried to reactivate and the activation was acccepted as successfull, but nonetheless, the software comes back up as trial expired.
I tried to install the latest version (December 21).
I even went online and purchased a new license (this is extremely urgent as I have dozens of automated emails with tailor-made PDF that go out to clients on the 1st of each month).
The newly acquired activation code also was accepted with success but the software still tells me my trial period has expired.
Anyone have any idea if this bug will be fixed before January 1st (otherwise I have to spend the day re-installing HM4 and re-editing all my automated GUI scripts to use HM4 instead of HM6 before tonight's updates)
Very best regards,

You don't need to download the entire build, here's the patch that will fix it, just 18MB:
http://download.ec-software.com/help-an ... chonly.exe
Just run the program to fix your installation. Everything should then work as normal.
The new full version 2350 only applies the same update.
Happy New Year! (Phew... )

Don't you hate people who test your software at 1am ?

Doesn't make all that much difference really -- we have users in every time zone.Olivier Beltrami wrote:Don't you hate people who test your software at 1am ?

Happy New Year!
Thanks for the H&M6 fix. Must have been a mad scramble there in the EC office for a while?
I wonder how the Samoans coped losing Fri 30 Dec from their calendar in order to cross the International Date Line?

Good thing they didn't do it on the 24th of December, missing out on Christmas day! Imagine all the disappointed children when they're told Christmas is just a myth - for 2011 at leastJohn Waller wrote:I wonder how the Samoans coped losing Fri 30 Dec from their calendar in order to cross the International Date Line?
Thank you EC Software for your continuous excellent support. Onwards and upwards!
