Let the scrollbars scroll immediately

Unread post by upscene »

Hi,

Can you make the scrollbars to scroll immediately when you move the thumb?

Thanks!

When you have a large image open in a window and the image is zoomed in or larger than the window, scrollbars appear.

Oh dang, this should have gone in the Impict Wishlist. ;)

Hi Martijn,

I moved the topic. :) What exactly do you mean by "thumb" here? Is the problem that the scroll wheel doesn't move the image around?

Thanks. ;)

The "thumb" is the section of the scrollbar that you can grab and move up and down/left to right.

In Impict, it will only actually scroll/move the view window on the image when you release the mouse button, instead of moving the view window on the image right away.

It's working fine here (Windows 8.1). What version of Windows are you using?

Hi Tim,

The scrollbars are not tracking in Impict. They need to have Tracking:=True. The default is False --this is a legacy from the old days when it could significantly affect performance. Here's the Delphi Help:

Hi Martin,

Thanks. Still can't see anything wrong on my system, but I've passed it on. :)

Update: Both scroll wheel support and mouse tracking are going to be implemented in Impict in the next maintenance update of Help & Manual 6, which will be 6.5.2. Thanks for the reports! 8)
