Re: Premium Pack 3 and Help & Manual 7.0.8 Released
Hello again,
i have taken the skin template Flat_Fresh_Lime_Soda.hmskin
I have translated all the messages from EN to NL. I have edited the graphic files but only part of the stuff is done. See enclosed image.
do not know what i am doing wrong. HM is a fantastic product but working with the skins etc... has always been puzzling for me.

Hi Frans, Darren,
There is also no point in trying to edit the favicon.ico file. If you want to change it you need to replace it with your own favicon, not edit it.
I can't confirm this. Double-clicking on this file or right-clicking and selecting Edit simply displays a message asking me what program I want to edit it with. Have you set the .ico extension as an editable file type in Preferences? It shouldn't be, because only some graphics files can edit .ico files (Impict can't) and code editing files certainly can't edit them.Frans Van Antenhove wrote:Hi,

I can confirm that setting the .ico file as editable gets rid of the error - but if you don't do this then you get error below - I don't get a message about what program do you want to use to open it

Hi Frans,
The texts in the menus at the top need to be edited in the HM_HEADERMENU.html file in the baggage. See Help & Manual Premium Pack > V3 Responsive Skins > Configuring for Use > Header Menus in the help for detailed instructions.
These errors will be connected in an update after the holidays. I'm afraid we're closing down for Christmas now, so there's no more time for changes at the moment.

Thanks for reporting this! There are a couple of configuration variables missing there. You can access the "Enter one or more keywords to search..." text in the Search Template for the moment and translate it directly there (you may need to activate advanced options for PP skins in Edit > Edit Preferences in PP Toolbox to be able to edit this). The other texts are the standard search interface texts for which there is already a Dutch language file. To load this, open the skin file in Help & Manual and click on the Open icon on the right above the "String Constants / Translation:" box. You will then be able to select the Dutch language file and edit the constants if you don't like all the translations.Frans Van Antenhove wrote:I have translated all the messages from EN to NL. Hi Frans,
Sorry, that sentence wasn't complete enough. The setting is in Configuration > Publishing Options > WebHelp > Full Text Search See the image below for details.

Re: Premium Pack 3 and Help & Manual 7.0.8 Released
Hi Frans,
Thanks for the info. The 3.1 update that I am already working on is going to include the ability to write and read language files for the entire skin, including all the translatable strings and not just the standard Zoom language file strings. As users provide their language files they will then be included in the distributions.
