Include skin options missing when editing a publising task
Hi,
When I create a new action in a publishing task and select the Include options I get a list with build and a list with skin options.
When I edit that task again to change the skin options they are not visible anymore.
I use H&M 7.3.5 Build 4434 and premium pack 3.44

Re: Include skin options missing when editing a publising ta
Hi Vincent,
Update: As far as I can see, this only happens if you try to edit actions in the auto-generated task "Recent Publishes", which you should never do. That task is dynamic and will change automatically every time you publish the project manually without the task manager. If you want to have editable actions you need to create a custom task of your own for them. Then the skin include options will appear when you re-edit the task and the actions in it.

Tweaking the auto-generated task could be useful for experimenting, though. Perhaps the app should force you to save your changes to a new/existing custom task?Tim Green wrote:AFAICS this only happens if you try to edit actions in the auto-generated task "Recent Publishes", which you should never do.

Hi Tim,
Sorry to disappoint you but I did this all in my self created tasks.
I did not touch the recent published tasks (never use them btw)

OK, thanks for that. I'll have our developers look into it after all. I wanted to be absolutely certain first, because in my initial tests it seemed to be working fine in user-defined tasks.VincentBevort wrote:Sorry to disappoint you but I did this all in my self created tasks.

Re: Include skin options missing when editing a publising ta
Hi Vincent,
Update: The difficulty in reproducing this was because the problem only affected EWriter. It was related to the fact that EWriter has a strange dual personality, being defined as both WebHelp and eBook. It has now been corrected and the fix will be in the upcoming 7.3.6 maintenance update. If you want you can also download the stable beta installer with this link:
https://www.helpandmanual.com/download/ ... p-v736.exe
This also includes a number of fixes for some arcane PDF issues, in which text in some fonts would be above or below the baseline if they were combined with other fonts in the same line.
