H&M and log-on/off

Unread post by John Johann »

I'm running Windows 7 and H&M 7.4.2 Build 4620

Following scenario:
1. H&M running with the Find dialogue open
2. Log off
3. Log back on with my freshly brewed cup of tea

The Find dialogue refuses to let me close it -- I have to close and reopen H&M. The Find All list sometimes also misbehaves and won't leave.

Any thoughts?

Hi John,

What exactly do you mean by "Log off" here? If you sign out of your user account Help+Manual will be closed completely, so it won't be possible for the dialog box to be open. If you just put the computer to sleep the dialog box will remain open and my tests indicate that it remains fully functional when you wake the machine up again.

Sorry, I meant Windows key + L, so less log off and more lock :-)

Hi John,

Thanks for the clarification. I can't reproduce this, fortunately or unfortunately... :? I'm passing it on to the development team for further investigation.
