I know I've manually done this for some time now, i.e. Added a See Also footer to lots of topics the same as you do in your help files.. But I wonder if there is a more assisted way to get this done? If there is I'll kill myself.. but I can't think of what else to search for when trying to find if this function exists.

Hi Alan,

There isn't any way to automate this except in CHM, and you definitely don't need to kill yourself. That method is so clunky and Byzantine that everyone except the most obsessive geeks abandons it very quickly to do it manually as you are doing. Quite apart from the fact that it's at least as finicky as doing it manually, it only works in CHM so you have to do it manually for all the other formats anyway. 8)

If you're interested, it's done in CHM with a Microsoft technology called "A-Keywords", which stands for associative keywords. Start here:
