We used ICanLocalize to translate our helpfiles last year. They were terrific. We need to translate an update now and they say they can no longer read H&M files. What do you suggest?

Re: ICanLocalize Translation
Hi Sandy,
At the moment, unfortunately, there is no equivalent service to ICL that supplies translation memory software as part of the service in the way that they do. If you wish to continue to use translation memory you would need to find a translator/bureau that uses other translation memory software.Ideally this would be SDL Trados, which is currently the market leader. Help+Manual includes configuration files for Trados in the \Templates\Translation folder in the Help+Manual program directory.

Be interesting to know what's changed. Is this anything to do with Tidy XML?Sandy Palmer wrote:[ICanLocalize] say they can no longer read H&M files.

No, ICL just decided that they no longer wished to continue supporting external content like this.Simon_Dismore wrote:Be interesting to know what's changed. Is this anything to do with Tidy XML?Sandy Palmer wrote:[ICanLocalize] say they can no longer read H&M files.
