Automatically add file extension to GIF.
When saving as a GIF would it be possible to automatically add a file extension (.gif) if the user leaves one out of the file name? This is typical behavior when using a windows file save dialog, but isn't done when having a separate prompt as HX does.
Re: Automatically add file extension to GIF.
Hello,
Here are some interesting suggestions:
For gif format:
- See picture
- Transparent background
For the template :
- Add a template for facebook photo cover (animate gif)
Good product
Thank you !

Hi Dan,
Where are you not seeing the .gif extension being added? I just checked on Publish, Save, Save As and Export Slide (in the right-click context menu when you click on a slide in the Slide List) and the extension is added automatically in all those dialogs.

Re: Automatically add file extension to GIF.
Click on Publish and select Multi-page GIF image. Then type into the output file name field: c:\temp\dan. File is saved as dan instead of dan.gif. However if you hit the "..." to get the file save dialog and enter c:\temp\dan in that dialog, it automatically appends the .gif when you click "save" so the behavior is inconsistent.
