Hello,
Is there any way to automate the publishing process using the task manager to export multiple different tables of contents?
My use case is that I want to publish one webhelp version (from the main TOC) where all my user guides are stored in one place, and I also want to publish many smaller PDFs (from other TOCs) that contain smaller sections of the main TOC so my users can take them to an offline (no internet) environment.
Thanks,
Task Manager with multiple TOC

Yes, this is easy to do: You can select the table of contents to be used in the first (Output File) tab of your action definition. You just need to create multiple actions, one for each TOC you want to export with, along with all the other settings.ThisIsRTub wrote: ↑Tue Oct 01, 2024 4:52 pm Is there any way to automate the publishing process using the task manager to export multiple different tables of contents?

Re: Task Manager with multiple TOC
Thanks Tim, I see now looking at https://www.helpandmanual.com/help/hm_w ... using.html that there is a 'Publish with this table of contents' option.
However, this is not available in my H+M application. I am running v9.2.0 build 6538. Was this option added later?

Re: Task Manager with multiple TOC
UGH never mind... I deleted the other TOC in my project so this option was hidden, since I only had 1 TOC. Adding extras made this option reappear.
Silly me.
