Issue: Disabling "User can copy content to clipboard" does not work.
Disable "User can copy content to clipboard" has been set in eWriter's options as shown in the image.
After publishing the eWriter format eBook, open this exe format eBook, disable the "User can copy content to clipboard" function is completely effective. However, we found that the eBook is not in WebView2 rendering mode.
So we tried to copy the WebView2Loader.dll file to the same directory as the eBook, and opened the eBook again, and found that the eBook was already in WebView2 rendering mode, which is what we needed, which is good. Unfortunately, disabling "User can copy content to clipboard" doesn't work in this rendering mode. This is exactly what happens:
The copy button in the right mouse menu is indeed disabled, which is fine. But if you use the shortcuts Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V you can still copy and paste content to other places. That's the problem.
How can I disable readers from copying and pasting content in WebView2 rendering mode?

Re: Disabling "User can copy content to clipboard" does not work.
There are still some restrictions on the Edge-based WebView2 eViewer. This includes being able to suppress access to the CTRL-C/-V shortcuts because the API there doesn't provide direct access to the context menu. We're going to see if we can provide a workaround for this in the future.
