Hi,
In the Help+Manual 9 manual, it was mentioned that VCS status overlay icons in the TOC (“No more TOC icons”) were no longer supported due to changes in the programming interface.
I would like to confirm whether this limitation still applies to Help+Manual 10.
Is there now any way to restore or emulate the TOC icons that show the version control status (e.g., edited, up to date, conflict, etc.) — perhaps through configuration with a Git GUI client (such as SourceTree, TortoiseGit, or GitHub Desktop) or via a custom script integration?
Thanks in advance for clarifying whether this feature remains unavailable or if there is any workaround in version 10.

Yes, and that is permanent. We now use the scripted interface to version control, and this makes the icons impossible.
None whatsoever. Consider this feature dead.Is there now any way to restore or emulate the TOC icons that show the version control status
