Having upgraded SnipSVG to 2.1, I watched the ten-second video about the new features but have been unable to get the numbered tags working. The "auto-incrementing numbering tags" simply appear out of thin air and I can find no menu item or other function which looks to have a means of creating these. Nor anything in the SnipSVG help file related to this feature other than 'sharing' which comes a bit later in the task. Does someone have perhaps two minutes to spare to demonstrate this entire task, which is promoted as so simple to do; and then replace the 10-second sprint-through which really only shows the result?
I also managed to lock up SnipSVG later while trying this process and had to kill the program. I shall monitor the other topic here which also describes this problem. I am using Eset as AV and have not had time to try turning this off and trying to reproduce what I did. Process Explorer shows only one SnipSVG process. Windows 11.
sharing from Snipsvg

Re: sharing from Snipsvg
Hi Tim,
The numbering tags are automatic. If you choose a numbering shape from the shapes menu the number will be incremented every time you insert that shape.

This is almost certainly caused by your third-party AV, a class of product which is almost by definition designed to disrupt your system. Please contact support AT ec-software.com (replace the AT with @) for a debug version, although I would really recommend uninstalling any third-party AV and activating Windows Defender instead.I also managed to lock up SnipSVG later while trying this process and had to kill the program.
