Hi,
Many of my printed manuals have multi-column layouts. I find it clearer to have all my level 2 titles at the beginning of a new column and unfortunately Manual Designer does not allow that.
I noticed that a page break does the job when inserted in a topic. But it implies I have to place a page break at the end of all the last sections of my level 1 chapters (which can be a problem when I move topics from one place to the other). And I have to put these page breaks into conditional tags as I don’t want these page breaks on all my manuals.
So it is possible but a bit complicated. It would be really great to have a new option instead, in the “Page break” drop down list (in the “Page options for topics” dialog box) :
- None
- New column
- New page
- New odd page
Thanks
Bertrand
