How about right-clicking the Topic Back and Forward arrows to show lists of Topics in both directions, not just "Previous" and "Next".
Right-lick topic lists would speed up accessing Topics in work-flows like this:

Amend Topic C
Amend Topic D
Amend Topic E
then
Amend Topic B again
Amend Topic C
Amend Topic D
then
Amend Topic A again
Amend Topic B
