Hot spot editor: minor usability suggestions

In the image hot spot editor, when adding a link, it is painful to find the right topic when you have many topics (I have 1294). Suggestions (easy to hard):
1) Make the drop-down list much longer (this is trivially easy to do and - at least for me - having a combo-box set too long causes no problem at run time as it is resized to the list length).
2) Set the default topic to be the current one (currently no default is set) as (at least for me) I will often refer to text in the current topic.
3) You can type the initial letter of the target (good), but if you hopefully type more letters you are out of luck. perhaps make a combo box so you can paste the target in, or type the first few letters and have the list find the first match?
Perhaps there is a way of selecting your target before you use the hotspot editor?
