Error while parsing tag "topic" (H&M7)

Unread postby Dale Aceron » Wed Apr 10, 2019 9:01 pm

I am getting the error: "Error while parsing tag "topic". This started to JUST happen.
What I am finding is that when I assign the Topic with a Topic Status, even if it's the same Topic Status, and then click SAVE, the Error no longer exists.

Hi Dale,

Is your project managed in SVN source control?

We are using Bitbucket/Sourcetree to manage it.

Hi Dale,

Errors like this can happen when your source control makes mistakes when merging different versions of the XML files. If you have the ID of the affected topic, please mail the topic XML file from the \Topics folder to support AT ec-software.com (replace the AT with @) and we'll have a look at it.
