Hi,
I'm running H&M V7.5.4 Build 4760.
I created a new topic in Language A with a new text variable. The global variable is set to a placeholder, the local variable in the topic is set individually.
When I synchronise the project to Language B, the new topic is inserted, but neither the global, nor the local variable is added to the target language. Is that intentional or have I missed a setting somewhere?
Thanks

Re: Synchronise varibales
Hi John,
It's possible that variables are not currently included in the project sync tool. I've asked our developers to look into it and will post an update here when I have more information.

Re: Synchronise varibales
Hi John,
I just bumped our developer on this and it turns out that the variables are currently not synchronized. This will be corrected soon in the next maintenance update. Thanks for reporting this and sorry for the inconvenience.

Re: Synchronise varibales
Hi John,
Update:
https://www.helpandmanual.com/download/ ... p-v811.exe
This now syncs project variables, custom builds and topic status as well as everything else. Only the variable names are actually synchronized, of course. Their values are left unchanged because those will be translations. The only exceptions are protected variables, which by definition should remain unchanged/untranslated, so those are synchronized. Similarly, new variables are synchronized with their values because there are not any translations yet.

Hi Tim,
Thanks for the update.
Will you be patching v7?
