There's an annoying oddity in the H+M7/8 UI. When you mouseover a table with a coloured cell, you get a popup showing the cell colour in hex RGB, such as #E0E0E0. When, however, you want to change the cell colour, you get a Windows dialog with a Custom sub-dialog that only allows you to enter values in decimal RGB. I can convert hex to decimal in my head but it increases my tea intake requirement.
Could you please either switch to a colour chooser that supports hex-formatted colours or change the mouseover to show the colour in both hex and decimal?

Hi Jeff,
I'd never noticed that but you're right. My guess is that the picker is the standard Windows color picker component, so that probably can't be changed. I'll see if something can be done about the mouseover information.

Re: Table colour mouseover in decimal as well as hex
The standard Windows color dialog looks a bit dated, doesn't it? And this is particularly annoying, because we are already using the Developer Express UI components, that come with a much nicer color dialog, which has an additional hex entry field. Hence, there isn't even additional source code added. All there is to do is to reclass this dialog component.

Genius! Thank you. What other help software developer could fulfil a feature request in less than 24 hours?

It's a beta, you know...
But this was really simple to include in the daily build.
